Tackling wastewater COD for a garment manufacturer
A treatability study using AQUACODe media reduced silica levels in a garments manufacturer’s wastewater from 300 ppm to 35 ppm in a flow-through system. Further treatment with Exposome Liquid Silica Buster lowered silica to 223 ppm.
Cyanide reduction from effluent water for a major steel plant
A treatability study on steel plant IBF GCP wastewater revealed excellent reductions in both COD using AQUACODe and cyanide using AQUACyn through soaking experiments. Flow-through testing with AQUACyn further improved cyanide reduction further improved cyanide reduction to 88.24%.
Estimation of hardness reduction in paper industry
A treatability study on paper industry wastewater showed significant COD reduction using AQUACODe Power, ranging from 72.5% to 100% depending on the treatment stage. Hardness reduction was also substantial, with AQUASoft Media achieving 69-77% reduction in different treatment stages.
